As for my derby class last Sunday, I found out today that the pay-out for the fifth placing I got is $64.75 - Woohoo... I think it cost 100 bucks to enter.
Oh well, I certainly don't compete horses to make money. That's for sure.
Hose is supposed to bring my nieces down today for a pony lesson. I hope they show up. Never know with that group. They are quite delicate. When it's too hot they might melt, when it's raining they might melt, when it's nap-time it's nap-time, etc., etc.
Oh well, I'll take what I can get.
Ginnie sent me a photo of Leapy, the little horse that won the Grand Prix last week. He's very cute...
