Is Blogging Safe???
Great question... Wonder it many a times when the news tells me myspace isn't safe. Pretty sure Craig's list isn't safe either, since there's some guy you can get concert ticket's from if you suck him the best (he must have the littlest thing ever)...
I don't call myself a pro when it comes to computers, but this feels safe. Signed up for a myspace and didn't like the feel. Signed up for ebay and I use it occasionally, but not impressed. Thought about checking out Craig's list, but don't feel like sucking anything for anything but LOVE :)
So we will see how this goes...
Life is scary enough with face to face interaction. Not being able to look someone you don't know in the eye when conversing or conducting a transaction can be nerve racking...
Two days ago I was at the gas station, pumping it up, and a blue minivan pulled up on the other side quite quickly. I'm expecting the "you got a spare 20 for gas?" but am asked if I want to buy an entertainment center. "No Thank You" - Mostly because I really don't want one, but then I look at the situation...
He's in a van, Jersey-ish accent (I'm no expert), passenger at his side. I look to the back and I can see through the tinted windows to the gas station shop. What kind of entertainment center can't fill a minivan and block my view thru the windows? And then I see the head look up of a guy with a goatee laying on his back, in the back of the van.
My instincts are good, have been forever. But someone was testing me...
I truthfully hope I'm wrong and just have been watching too many T.V. shows. I watched them drive out, back onto the freeway and didn't take the license. I'm old enough to know that if they are trying to sell an entertainment center, then it's stolen. But then there was that guy in the back. Oh, he thru me, so I didn't get the license... SUCKS!!!
What the heck they had in mind, I try not to think too much about...
