long weekend - yea!!!!

I'm off to an event tomorrow at this place: Twin Rivers

It's our first event of the season, which is odd because the season ends in November, but for a number of reasons I haven't taken Blue to an event this year.

Needless to say, I'm a bit nervous and excited. The best part is the getting out of town and road trip with my friends. Three people and three dogs piling into the truck with two horses to tow spells fun times :)

Here's Blue at the last Oaks show. We got reserve champion in the AA division and placed 6th in the Classic on Sunday. That paid out 60 bucks. woohoo...

note to mommie dearest

Death is sad (unless your name is dalmer) and especially sad when it is a child, niece, nephew, son, daughter... a relative that should have lived longer than you.

And then there's Daniel. Not sure what to think about it, other than he shouldn't have died before her.














Which brings me to my new family rule - No relative younger than the eldest relative is allowed to meet their maker.

So Mommie Dearest - to guarantee my 80+ years of life, all I want for Christmas is that you live another 50+ years.

Granted, they had a few problems X-Country, but it was their first time at an international competition, abroad. Out of 71 starters, she finished 46th.
