Focusing On The Positive

So I'll get the negative over real quick...

Don't know what's up with RM. I'm pretty sure that he's over me. Not phoning, not emailing and sounds weird if I call him. If I really over analyze the situation (no, I never do that) I've been unhappy with the progress of our relationship since the December visit and have been pressuring him. Probably made him feel uncomfortable, but if I'm going to make the commitment he wants he better be sure. Not so sure he was ready, or I for that matter. Time for a break. Anyone who watched the T.V. show Friends knows what happens on a "break". YES, in this case I am Ross, although I hate saying it...

ON TO THE POSITIVE

The best thing ever is that Amy is back at work, although she probably doesn't agree. But I'm "super stoked" because I get to hear from her again. She sent me pictures of the cutest little boy ever (sorry Hose, but you would agree). Unfortunately the pics are on my computer at work - Sorry Mom. I'll show you next week.

The next positive in my life is that Mom called last night after getting her B-Day present laughing hysterically and then making me laugh hysterically. If you need a fun, party present for someone, I recommend this gift you can buy at zgallery.com Just search for "slang" and it you'll find it.

- And how lucky am I that I have so many??? -

Before I get to the last one...

The dogs aren't begging me for dinner, they are on the couch...

The Artichoke plant is CRAZY - (good eatin')...
Elvia, my favorite housecleaner ever will be here tomorrow...
Although the sun isn't shining, it's not raining...
It's friday!!!!!

Saved the last one for Ginnie. Although I worry she's trying to control me (if you asked her she'd tell you there's no controlling Sam), maybe it stems from the fact I've known her since I was 12 and she has been a huge influence in my life. Either way, she has made a great accomplishment that I have luckily had the opportunity to share.

She picked (Tim Calandra purchased), developed and has this horse at the World Cup for equestrian show jumping. The original rider and my good friend, Molly Talla, got pregnant this year. So they let Richard Spooner (a celebrity in our circle) take Cash (the horse) to Kuala Lumpur (Malasia) for the competition.

He is f'ing qualified for the finals. I can't f'ing believe it. He is last for the finals (they take the best 20 and he is 20th). But, for those of you who aren't aware, this is Pre-Olympic selection. He's in the same pack of all the rest of the Olympic hopefuls for the US.

Ginnie selected and produced an Olympic Hopeful. I'm so proud of her.

'tis why I still listen to her when she tries to tell me what to do...

I (heart) Pink!!!

I don't like Amazon... I ordered her new CD over a week ago and they said it shipped on her release date of "I'm still alive", but haven't gotten it and tracking says ready for pickup. LAME!!!

But Pink is soooo cool. She's cool like Gwen. Although I love Gwen's new music post (or on break) from No Doubt, those Japanese girls thru me off her, but for personal reasons.

But Pink is soooo cool. Finally, a real person, not one of the fake group. Pink, you ROCK.

No offense, but I hate that color.

I (heart) change.

Not that I get bored, all the time, but change can be fun, can be exciting. Change your car and people notice. Change your hair and people notice. Change slang and people notice. Now I'm coming to realize that I like change when other people notice ME, not so much when I notice things...

Like when the weather changes. It's usually sunny and warm here, although we do have rainy winters. Not winter anymore, but yet it keeps raining. Needless to say, the rain is showing all the things I need to change around my house.

The fence is going. I think my neighbor is waiting for it to totally go so homeowners will replace it at their cost. I'm not like that and I have dogs I don't want in her yard, so here's what the fence looks like on my side (yes, mommie, I went to the dump again!!!)

The yellow/orange ties are holding the fence up with the help of my trees. Yes, the furthest yellow/orange tie has been there for a couple of years, at least...

Then I noticed that I need to clean the rain gutters. And I've probably waited too long because I think this one will need to be replaced. The pictures don't really show, but it's bulging in the middle and thinking about breaking...

But I suck because I haven't gone to the feed store to get the birds food and they got back on my birthday (3/19) and have been leaving me presents all over the place. Can't complain a ton, the rain washes it away, but then leaves me another issue, see my circle. If I had a choice, right now it would be birds... I love the return of the Sapranos... What the hell is on my mind? Sparrows...

We had so much fun last weekend at dinner. Here's a picture of Ginnie and Lisa.

Had a few side notes, but only one sticks in my mind as Jo'Burg whines at me for dinner. The cell phone that lets parents know the location of their children... That kid was right, she IS TRUSTWORTHY, at least until she breaks that trust and maybe the parents should be the safety net for that f'up. Whatever with that tanget. I'm just saying, you could have a link to the kids cell phone, but whos to say it gets dropped, whos to say someone stole it, and worst yet, who's to say they have the service and still need YOU. Kids need you to tell them that although they are going to the lake with their best friend, whose a boy at 18 and you are 14, is not allowed. I hugely thank my step dad, Mr. Murphy, for making those rules, because if he hadn't I wouldn't have this memory...

Shithead driving me up the steep hill to my house as a teenager. It was late for a schoolnite, I'm sure Rick didn't like it but made Mom deal. She accused me of everthing that was true that night, at the front door. But I lived in the back house, so didn't have to approach the one I couldn't.

NO - he didn't make it to the back house. I don't remember any boy being there...

I (heart) - no LOVE - you Mommie D... With a bit of luck I'll have lice to kill instead of fleas...

Yea, It's Love
